The state Department of Transportation is advising drivers to be alert while traveling on Kamehameha Highway today where a road crew is repairing potholes.

The crew will be working on a stretch of the highway between Lumiaina Street in the Waikele subdivision and Higgins Road across from the main entrance to Wheeler Army Airfield.

The pothole patching is scheduled to continue through 2 p.m.
