'TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE' EXTENDED

Yes, the economy is faltering, and you can't go shopping or take that vacation you want, but life is still a gift. If you need some reinforcement, check out "Tuesdays with Morrie," extended with shows at 8 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday, 4 p.m. Sunday at Manoa Valley Theatre.

Based on the book by Mitch Albom, the play follows a driven sportswriter whose spirit is reawakened as he spends time with his former college professor, Morrie. Morrie is dying, but he has chosen to embrace life with courage, humor and dignity. This play will keep you engaged, make you laugh, and leave you bawling. Get tickets, $15-$30, at www.manoavalleytheatre.com or call 988-6131.
