Honolulu firefighters have extinguished a fire at a military housing residence on Smith Circle near Pearl Harbor.

The Honolulu Fire Department responded to the call at 5:48 p.m. and saw smoke coming from the residence. The blaze was brought under control by 5:55 p.m. and extinguished 10 minutes later.

No one was home at the time and there were no injuries reported.

Fire investigators remain on the scene and have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
