Drowning victim identified as Minnesota woman, 61
The city Department of the Medical Examiner has identified Christine Christensen, 61, of Lakeville, Minn., as the woman who apparently drowned while snorkeling Sunday at the Ko Olina resort.
Police responded yesterday to a report that a woman had been found floating and unconscious at about 12:30 p.m. at Ko Olina's Cove 2.
She was taken to an area hospital, where she died later in the day.
An autopsy was scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
