UH men's tennis team reaches WAC championship match

Hawai'i's Sascha Heinemann defeated Fresno State's Remi Boutillier, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4, in the final match to be completed tonight to lift the Warriors to a 4-3 victory and into the championship match of the Western Athletic Conference men's tennis championship at UH Tennis Complex.

The third-seeded Warriors will face top-seeded Boise State at noon tomorrow.

Hawai'i got singles victories from Dennis Lajola, Leo Rosenberg, Heinemann and Jeff Fitch. Fresno State's Rudolf Siwy and Flavio Mollinedo posted wins, while the Bulldogs won the doubles point taking 2 of 3 matches.
