WAI'ANAE
Scholarships offered to nontraditional students

Women of Wai'anae — a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the further education aspirations of people on the Wai'anae Coast — is offering scholarship applications for nontraditional students interested in post high school undergraduate educational opportunities.

Nontraditional students are those who did not attend college right after high school. Scholarship applicants must be a high school graduate from the year 2000 or earlier (GED or C-Base diplomas are acceptable). They also must be a current resident of the Wai'anae Coast and have lived there for at least five years.

Applications are available at the Wai'anae Public Library or by calling 389-0129. The postmark deadline for applications is May 19. Scholarships will be awarded in June.
