Waialua students will display their artwork beginning with a reception from 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 14 at the Waialua Public Library.

The community is invited to the free event to meet the artists and enjoy pupu.

About 30 students of Howard Farrant, a teacher at Waialua High & Intermediate School, will participate, bringing photographs, ceramics, prints, drawings and paintings.

Most of the art will be available for purchase, with a portion of each sale donated to the library.

The art show, which will be on display for about two months, is sponsored by the Friends of Waialua Library.
