Hawaii Pacific University has been selected as a host site for the NCAA West Region men's tennis tournament.

The Sea Warriors will host the UC-San Diego Tritons May 7 at 11:30 a.m. at the Kailua Racquet Club.

HPU (13-4) was awarded the opportunity to host based on their regular season finish as the West Region's top-ranked team. Both teams met earlier this season on the campus of UCSD. The Sea Warriors defeated the Tritons 7-2.

The winner will advance the NCAA National Tournament in Altamonte Springs, Florida held May 13-16.
