A woman in her 60s was in critical condition after she was pulled from the high surf fronting the Moana Surfrider hotel in Waikiki.

Paramedics transported the woman to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition, said Bryan Cheplic, city Emergency Medical Services spokesman. The woman was pulled from the surf after the apparent drowning by an unknown person, Cheplic. When paramedics arrived she was all ready on shore.
