Honolulu's Tadd Fujikawa slumped to a final-round 3-over-par 75 yesterday to finish in a nine-way tie for 31st at the Japan Golf Tour's Sun Chlorella Classic in Hokkaido.

Fujikawa, an 18-year-old Moanalua High School graduate, finished a even-par 288 and won about $8,900.

Ryo Ishikawa, a 17-year-old Japan pro, shot a final-round 67 to complete a wire-to-wire victory at the Otaru Country Club.

Ishikawa finished at 17-under 271 for his second title of the season and fourth of his Japan Golf Tour career.

Ishikawa, who is the leading money winner on the Japan tour, will next play at the PGA Championship, starting Aug. 13 in Chaska, Minn., as a special invitee. He missed the cut in his two major tournament appearances this year — the Masters in April and the British Open in July.
