Fire in studio apartment causes $2,000 in damage
A second-floor studio apartment on North Hotel Street caused $2,000 worth of damage in Chinatown yesterday morning.
The cause of the fire was undetermined.
Honolulu firefighters were dispatched at 8:56 a.m. and about 20 firefighters had the blaze extinguished by 9:09 a.m.
The occupant of the studio apartment was not home.
