MINNEAPOLIS — The three finalists for the Minnesota Timberwolves coaching vacancy have three distinctly different resumes.

Timberwolves president David Kahn is in the process of deciding between Lakers assistant Kurt Rambis, ESPN analyst Mark Jackson and Houston assistant Elston Turner.
Rambis is the most experienced of the bunch. He coached the Lakers in the lockout-shortened 1998-99 season and has filled in several times for Phil Jackson.
Mark Jackson is the former flashy point guard who could be ideal to work with youngsters Ricky Rubio and Jonny Flynn while bringing some name recognition to the post.
Turner is the most anonymous of the candidates. He has been an assistant in the league for 12 years and has had two impressive interviews to keep him in the mix.
