CFB: Frustrated by title game loss, Sooners start anew

By JEFF LATZKE
AP Sports Writer

NORMAN, Okla.— With a long offseason behind them, the Oklahoma Sooners are ready to put their BCS championship game loss in the past.

Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Sam Bradford said Friday that the 24-14 loss to Florida still sticks with him — and “anyone on the team who told you they didn’t think about it a lot would be lying to you.”
Bradford says he’s even more comfortable as the Sooners’ starting quarterback after throwing for 4,720 yards and 50 touchdowns last season on the highest scoring offense in college football history.
He says he was still mastering the most complicated aspects of the Sooners’ offense a year ago. But now, Bradford says he is more confident than ever.
