The Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Chosin sailed from Pearl Harbor this morning on a scheduled Western Pacific deployment.

The Chosin, which carries a crew of about 340, will be part of the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group.
The Chosin will join up with the USS Nimitz and its carrier wing, which left San Diego July 31.
