Advertiser Staff

A 38-year-old homeless man was arrested yesterday as a suspect in two car break-ins that occurred about 5:30 p.m. May 3 at a Waikiki parking garage.

Police said the man was caught on the garage’s video security system entering the vehicles and taking property from them.
The suspect, who was identified through fingerprints, was arrested about 10:45 a.m. yesterday near the intersection of Coolidge and King streets on suspicion of two counts of unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, and one count each of third- and fourth-degree theft.
