Waipahu High School students got a special treat today at their assembly with a live performance by apl.de.ap of the pop group the Black Eyed Peas, who are on O'ahu for Saturday's BayFest at Marine Corps Base Hawaii at Kane'ohe Bay.

Waipahu held their welcome-back-to-school assembly in the gymnasium to introduce Keith Hayashi as its new principal.
