ONCE UPON A TIME IN NEVER NEVER LAND

Ballet Hawaii is taking on the staging of the classic tale of "Peter Pan" for two matinee shows Saturday and Sunday at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.

The Hawai'i troupe will be performing Washington Ballet's Septime Webre's version of the story, with sets and costumes courtesy of the Cincinnati Ballet.

And while everyone might know the story of the boy who never grew up, few have seen what goes on at a Tinkerbell Pirate Party, and frankly, we're curious. Take the keiki to Saturday's pre-show party where they can dine with pirates, dig for treasure and get all the insider details on life in Never Never Land from a costumed storyteller who knows all the dish.
