A motorcyclist who was heading north-bound on Wainee Street on Maui last night went past a stop sign and crashed into a a four-door sedan traveling east through the intersection of Dickenson Street.

The motorcyclist, a 48-year-old male from Lahaina, received head injuries and is in critical condition. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 62-year-old female from Kaneohe, was not injured.
It is not yet determined if speed, alcohol or drugs were involved.
