Rider critically hurt when motorcycle crashes into car
A motorcyclist was critically injured Sunday night in a two-vehicle accident in Lahaina.
Police said the motorcyclist, a 48-year-old Lahaina man, was traveling north on Waine'e Street when he went through a stop sign and crashed into a a four-door sedan traveling east through the intersection of Dickenson Street.
The motorcyclist suffered head injuries and was in critical condition. He was not wearing a helmet, police said.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 62-year-old woman from Kane'ohe, was not injured, police said.
