Guillermo passing far north of Hawaii

Guillermo is still a tropical storm but passing far north of Hawaii and heading northwest.

At 5 a.m. today, the center was located about 635 miles north-northeast of Honolulu, the Central Pacific Hurricane Center said.
Guillermo is moving toward the northwest near 18 mph and is expected to do so for the next 48 hours.
Maximum sustained winds ar near 40 mph with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast today with slow weakening expected tomorrow. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 175 miles to the north of the center.
The next advisory will be issued at 11 a.m.
