Associated Press

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Claycandy Hariquez tossed a two-hitter and drove in the go-ahead run with a single in the fourth inning to lead Willemstad, Curacao, to a 2-1 victory over Maracaibo, Venezuela, on Saturday at the Little League World Series.

Junters Dossett singled in the bottom of the fourth, went to second on a wild pitch and scored on Hariquez's single up the middle to break a 1-1 tie.

On the mound, Hariquez struck out 13 and walked one.

Curacao took a 1-0 lead in the second when Hariquez walked and moved to second on Richendly Bicentini's single. After an out, Iidion Martina blooped a pitch into right field. Venezuela forced the runner at second, but Hariquez came around to score on the play.

Venezuela tied it in the top of the fourth on Mikey Edie's RBI double.
