Shigeko Arakawa, 92, of Honolulu, died July 18, 2009. Born in Ninole, North Hilo, Hawai'i. Retired state Department of Education teacher. Survived by sons, Robert, Howard and Jason; daughters, Faith Khan and Joyce Kajioka; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brothers, Iwao, Lawrence, Patrick and Steve; his sisters, Mabel Tamanaha, Dora Jinnohara and Sue Arakawa; her brothers, Isamu, Eiji, Mickey and Shigeo Maedo; her sister, Betty Okamoto.
