A driver lost control of a vehicle and knocked over a fire hydrant in front of the Nimitz Business Center this afternoon, unleashing a geyser of water onto the highway.

No one was injured in the crash, which was reported at 12:52 p.m., Honolulu fire Capt. Robert Main said.
The crash occurred in front of the New Eagle Cafe in the west-bound, mauka-side lanes of Nimitz Highway, Main said.
