Police homicide investigators have been sent to a site off Winant Street near the Kamehameha Homes housing project in Kalihi where a woman’s body was discovered this morning.

Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said paramedics made a death pronouncement on the woman, who appears to be in her 20s, at 10:20 a.m.
The incident was initially classified as an unattended death although detectives are investigating signs of possible foul play, police said.
