A female driver was injured this morning when her car slid, flipped over and hit a telephone pole about 7 a.m. in Makiki.

The girl was driving makai on Auwaiolimu Street and making a left onto Nehoa Street when she lost control of the car on slick roads.
Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said the driver was taken to an area trauma center in stable condition.
One diamondhead-bound lane of Nehoa was closed following the incident.
