PORTLAND, Ore. — Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira has defeated Randy Couture tonight in the featured event of UFC 102 at Portland's Rose Garden.

The judges were unanimous in awarding the 33-year-old Brazilian nicknamed "Big Nog" the bout.

Couture, who was an assistant wrestling coach at Oregon State, is now 16-10. The 44-year old is a former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion.

Nogueira improved to 32-5-1.

More than 15,000 attended the event, the UFC's first in Portland.
