Viloria wins by unanimous decision, retains IBF light flyweight world title

Waipahu’s Brian Viloria retained his IBF light flyweight world championship belt tonight with a unanimous decision over Mexico's Jesus Iribe at Blaisdell Arena.

There were no knockdowns in the 12-round fight. The scores were 118-110, 117-112, 117-111.
Viloria is 26-2 with 15 knockouts. Iribe is 15-6-5 with nine knockouts.
It was first time since 1976 that a world boxing championship bout was staged in Hawai'i.
