A woman who was found dead late Sunday night in Waiçanae has been identified as Nicole Barrett of Waiçanae.

Police said Barrett, 26, was discovered unresponsive by a friend at about 10:15 p.m. on a road in Waiçanae. Barrett was pronounced dead a short while later.
The case has been classified as an unattended death pending the outcome of an autopsy. The city medical examiner’s office yesterday did not release the cause or manner of Barrett’s death.
