The Veranda at the Moana Surfrider will be the site of a holiday tea for children noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 29, featuring author Tammy Yee reading from her bestselling book, "Baby Honu's Incredible Journey," and a menu devised for the occasion by executive sous chef Richard Lancaster.

While the children are at their tea, adults can enjoy the Moana's trademark classic tea service including tea, finger sandwiches, scones, pastries and petit fours. Tickets are $45 per child and $55 per adult, exclusive of tax and tip. Reservations are required: 921-4600. Complimentary valet parking will be provided as well as self parking at the Sheraton Princess Kaçiulani Hotel.
