Bell to play golf for USF

Advertiser Staff

Kamehameha multi-sport athlete Alika Bell signed a national letter of intent to play for the University of San Francisco golf team next year.

Bell won Interscholastic League of Honolulu titles as a junior and freshman. He has medaled twice at the state golf championships, including a 10th-place finish this past spring. He placed 13th as a freshman to help the Warriors win the boys team title in 2007.

Bell is also a wide receiver for the Warrior football team and has played basketball and track at Kamehameha.

Bell's recruitment to USF was aided by a grant from the Matson Company, which targets Hawaiian student-athletes.
