UH football: Promotions for Saturday's game vs. Wisconsin


University of Hawaii

There will be bargains and other features for fans who attend Saturday's University of Hawaii football finale against Wisconsin.
Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. at Aloha Stadium.

SHOPPING SPREE, VEGAS TRIPS

The Honolulu Advertiser, the game sponsor for Saturday's football game against Wisconsin at Aloha Stadium, will be awarding a $5,000 shopping spree and trips to Las Vegas.

Fans can register before the game at Gate 3 for the chance to win the shopping spree and one of three trips for two to Las Vegas.
In addition, the first 5,000 fans to enter the stadium (any gate) will receive a Honolulu Advertiser bottle opener.

FILLING OUT SURVEY COULD LAND A TRIP

UH fans who fill out a one-page survey at any of the Aloha Stadium gates prior to Saturday's football game will be entered into a drawing for a Vacations Hawaii Trip For Two to Las Vegas.
The 10-question survey, which is being conducted by the UH Athletics Department, will ask fans about the start time for UH football, game traffic, stadium parking, etc. Tables will be set up at all stadium gates beginning at 5 p.m. (when the gates open) and the survey should take less than a minute to complete. There will be 1,000 survey forms available and they must be filled out in their entirety for the respondent to qualify for the Las Vegas

22 SENIORS HONORED

Twenty-two UH football seniors will be honored during pre-game and post-game "Senior Night" ceremonies.
The seniors are Greg Alexander, Kimo Alo, Victor Clore, John Estes, John Fonoti, Inoke Funaki, Ray Hisatake, Raphael Ieru, Daniel Johnson, Aaron Kia, R.J. Kiesel-Kauhane, Chris Leatigaga, Antwan Mahaley, Jon Medeiros, Bo Montgomery, Viliami Nauahi, Jayson Rego, Joshua Rice, Rocky Savaiigaea, Blaze Soares, Tuika Tufaga, and Leon Wright-Jackson.

GANG GREEN

UH fans are being encouraged to "Think Green" and wear a green shirt to the football team's "Senior Night" game against Wisconsin Saturday.
The game will be telecast live nationally on ESPN2.

TRAPASSO AT FAMILY FUN ZONE

UH baseball coach Mike Trapasso will be available for autographs and pictures at the Chevron Family Fun Zone from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The first 50 people to give the password "Cars love Chevron" at the Chevron Family Fun Zone entry booth will win a prize.
The Chevron Family Fun Zone is a family-friendly activity area free to the public.
It will be available prior to the UH-Wisconsin game in the Aloha Stadium South End Zone parking lot, adjacent to the Centerplate tailgate tent ("Aloha Zone").
It will open three hours prior to kick off.
The area features a variety of activities, including free hair painting, airbrush tattoos, poster messages, golf swing analysis by PGA professionals as well as inflatable bouncers, keiki rides, and a football toss cage from Xtreme Fun Rentals.
There also will be numerous prize giveaways, including free hotel accommodations, free golf getaways, and drawings for Chevron with Techron gift cards.

Bring your ticket stub from the Wisconsin football game to any Hawaii Outback Steakhouse location and get a free appetizer with the purchase of an entrée.

PHONE COLLECTION

Fans are encouraged to donate their used cell phones and accessories from any wireless carrier at the Verizon Wireless collection points inside Aloha Stadium near Gate 4 and Gate 7 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., prior to Saturday’s UH football game against Wisconsin.
The first 50 fans to donate their phones will receive entry to the exclusive Verizon Wireless Football Zone Tailgate Party.
