A 51-year-old Oahu man was arrested yesterday as a suspect in a forgery case that dates back to early July.

Police said the man cashed an $880.64 check that was later found to be counterfeit. The check was drawn on the account of a Honolulu business, police said.
A suspect was located yesterday and arrested on suspicion of second-degree forgery as well as second-degree theft.
