Police, community members to ask drivers to slow down during holidays

Honolulu police officers will join with community members at various locations this afternoon to urge Oahu motorists to drive with with extra care during the holiday season.

Sign-waving is scheduled from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Likelike and Kamehameha highways in Kaneohe.
From 4-5 p.m., police and others will wave signs at Makaloa and Keeaumoku streets; Dillingham Boulevard and King Street; Kalakaua and Monsarrat avenues; King Street near Isenberg Street; and King Street fronting Honolulu Hale.
The final sign-waiving of the day is scheduled from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. near St. Francis West Medical Center in Waipahu
