Advertiser Staff and News Services

Celebrate Honolulu City Lights' 25th anniversary today at Honolulu Hale from 4 to 10 p.m.
The food booths and rides start at 4 p.m., followed by the traditional Kawaiaha'o Church concert at 5 p.m.

Make sure to find a place to see the tree before 6 p.m. when Raiatea Helm, Mayor Mufi Hannemann and the "Were You There on December 12, 1985?" contest winner light the city's Christmas tree at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the Public Workers Electric Light Parade.
The festivities continue at 7:30 p.m. with a concert at the Sky Gate stage, featuring the U.S. Air Force band, Maunalua, Amy Hanaiali'i, DeLima Ohana and Touch of Gold.
