NightMarket offers holiday performances

NightMarket at Aloha Tower — held every third Wednesday monthly — will feature holiday performances, 5-10 p.m. Dec. 16.
“A Star’s Christmas” presented by Stars of Tomorrow, will give music performances. There will also be a Tahitian danced show by Heiva I Honolulu 2009 winners Ia Ora O Tahiti Nui; and breakdancing, Waikiki B-Boyz.
Raffles will be held as a fundraiser for Ia Ora O Tahiti Nui costumes as they prepare to defend their title in the upcoming March competition.
In the Art Gallery in the Waterfront lounge, artist Erin McCullough be “live painting.” Also, on display will an exhibition by Native Hawaiian artists Richard Kupihea Romero and Sheree Pokipala.
There will be a fashion show spotlighting clothes of accessories created by local designers. Some runway items will may be purchased at the designer’s booths. Participating vendors are SOLA2, Kaha’oku, Masina Polynesia, Encore Bags, Down to Earth Jewelry, and Purotu Designs.
In addition, there will be food, pop-up boutiques, Made-in-Hawaii products, and a bar selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
