MCDONALD'S

McDonald's Restaurants of Hawaii has announced that Frankie and Darlene Chung are the new owners of the five McDonald's restaurants on Kaua'i. Altogether, they have nearly 60 years of experience in the McDonald's system, both having begun as crew members 30 years ago.

Also announced was the promotion of Eric Yamamoto to operations consultant. His job is to improve operations and maximize long-term sales growth and profitability at the group of restaurants he oversees. He started as a crew person in 1997.

CLEARWIRE

Jon Gelman has been named Clearwire's regional vice president overseeing the launch of the company's Clear 4G mobile Internet on Maui and in Honolulu.

NORTHSTAR ALLIANCE

Local mortgage bank NorthStar Alliance Inc. has hired Loretta Milner, the former president of Big Island-based Royal Pacific Mortgage, as the company's Hawai'i-Pacific district manager.

Three loan officers formerly with Royal Pacific also joined NorthStar as of Dec. 1, the Honolulu-based company said.

HTH CORPORATION

HTH Corporation, owner of the Pacific Beach and Pagoda hotels, has announced Lacianne Terry as sales manager for the domestic and international markets for both hotels. She was most recently catering coordinator at The Pacific Club.

KONA BREWING COMPANY

Kona Brewing Company recently announced the addition of Steven Adyani to its staff as the Kailua, Kona pub general manager. He brings more than 17 years of management experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
