Got a kid who needs some time to just be a kid? Treat him or her to a day at Kaka'ako's Children's Discovery Center. It's a wonderful place for children to explore. Babies enjoy checking out the "Tot Spot." Older kids can sit inside a mouth and watch a movie about teeth, make a skeleton ride a bike, grocery shop with kid-sized shopping carts and much more. Admission is $8 for kama'äina/military; kids under 1 get in free.
