Performers ‘STOMP out Hunger’

Advertiser Staff

STOMP is partnering with the Hawaii Foodbank to “STOMP out Hunger” in Hawaii this holiday season.
STOMP, the touring performing group that creates rhythmic music with recognizable objects, will be performing at the Hawaii Theatre Dec. 22 through Jan. 3.
Cast members Andres “Pooh” Fernandez and Ivan Delaforce were born and raised here, while Guillaume Carreira spent his childhood in the islands. All three have lived in the Salt Lake/Moanalua area.
Fernandez, Delaforce, Carreira and other STOMP cast members will volunteer at the Foodbank’s Mapunapuna warehouse on Dec. 21.
STOMP’s Dec. 23 performance at the Hawaii Theatre has been named Hawaii Foodbank benefit night with a portion of each ticket sold going directly to the Foodbank. In addition, a $5 discount will be extended to each person who provides a canned food donation at any Ruby Tuesday Hawaii restaurant or at the time of their ticket purchase, for any STOMP performance at the Hawaii Theatre (some restrictions may apply).
Individual full-price tickets to STOMP are priced at $35, $45 and $55 and are available at the Hawaii Theatre Box Office, by phone at 808-528-0506 or online at hawaiitheatre.com. Applicable service charges apply.
As a gift for the season, special holiday “Low-Dough Pricing” has been created for select performances of STOMP. Tickets for the opening night performance on Dec. 22 are priced at only $15.25, $28 and $40. Tickets for the Dec. 23, 25, 27 and Dec. 31 performances are priced at $20, $30 and $40.
With a valid ID at the box office students, teachers, senior citizens and military personnel are admitted for just $25; discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more.
