Advertiser Staff

The ninth annual Hale'iwa Christmas Parade is from 6 to 7 tonight beginning at Weed Circle and ending at Hale'iwa Beach Park.

The event includes about 40 parade units and visits with Santa under the monkeypod tree at the North Shore Market Place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and after the parade until 8:30 p.m.

Restaurants and stores will be open and parking is available at shopping centers or Historic Hale'iwa Gym.

Parade watchers are advised to bring flashlights as well as lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
