CFB: Official: Las Vegas Bowl a sellout

Associated Press

LAS VEGAS — Administrators say public tickets have sold out for the upcoming Las Vegas Bowl.

Bowl executive Tina Kunzer-Murphy announced that seats to the Dec. 22 matchup pitting No. 15 BYU against No. 16 Oregon State are still available through the two schools.
She says this marks the fifth year that tickets to the game at Sam Boyd Stadium have sold out.
Kunzer-Murphy says that, just like last year, the crowd is expected to total about 40,000.
The 18th annual game is sponsored by MAACO. It’s owned and operated by ESPN Regional Television and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
BYU (10-2) was upset by Arizona in the Las Vegas Bowl last year.
Oregon State (8-4) missed a Rose Bowl berth this year with a loss to Pac-10 Conference champion Oregon.
