Jason Karichkowsky, with Habilitat, carries the last Christmas tree from the organization’s stand near Aloha Tower Marketplace to the car of a lucky customer. Suppliers warned that this year’s crop of trees would go fast, and they have been. Some sellers are already out.

Christmas trees in Honolulu may not be quite gone yet, but they’re going fast.

Some sellers are already out.
A stand near Aloha Tower Marketplace operated by Habilitat sold its last tree today.
Suppliers had said they are bringing in fewer or about the same number of trees into the state as last year and warned consumers not to wait.
Fred and Rick Smoot of Hawaii Kai came just in time to get the last tree at the Habilitat stand today.
Habilitat is a long-term residential program that provides treatment for substance abuse and chemical addictions.
