Man, suspected of beating grandmother, 85, arrested
A 49-year-old 'Aiea Heights man was arrested at his Kaulainahe'e Place home Wednesday night on suspicion of beating his 85-year-old grandmother.
Police said the grandson called to report the incident. They said the woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The grandson was arrested without incident. Police did not say what triggered the incident.
