“Life for a Child,” “Monsters vs. Aliens” and “The Express” will be screened at this month’s Sunset on the Beach events.

Tonight, Tesoro Hawaii, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Eli Lilly are sponsoring screenings of the documentary “Life for a Child” and the animated feature “Monsters vs. Aliens,” above, along with live entertainment from the
Pacific Fleet Band.
The Pacific Fleet Band will also perform on Monday prior to the screening of “The Express,” co-sponsored by Tesoro and the Sheraton Hawaiçi Bowl. Get Back will also provide live entertainment and guests from the SMU and Nevada football teams will be present for a barefoot pep rally at
6 p.m.
The free Sunset on the Beach events at Queen’s Surf Beach in Waikïkï start at 4 p.m. and Saturday’s films start at approximately 6 p.m. Monday’s film will follow the pep rally.
