KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jerome Harrison of the Cleveland Browns has broken Jim Brown's single-game team rushing record.

Harrison had 240 yards on 29 carries against Kansas City with a little more than 4 minutes left Sunday. He came in with 301 yards rushing for the season. His career high before Sunday was 121 yards this year against Cincinnati.

Brown had 237 yards twice, in 1961 against Philadelphia and 1957 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Cleveland's Joshua Cribbs earlier Sunday broke the NFL record with his seventh career kickoff return for a touchdown, and then added an eighth TD return.
