Maui's Mayor Charmaine Tavares will announce on Tuesday that Maui will be home to a minor league baseball team.

Tavares will make her announcement at 10 a.m.Tuesday in the mayor's conference room and discuss the economic affects of a professional team established on Maui.
At the same time the mayor will sign an agreement between the county and the new Maui-based team run by XnE to use Iron Maehara Baseball Stadium.
