Missing Big Island girl sought

The Hawai'i Police department said it is searching for a 12-year-old girl who has been missing from her Kailua, Kona home since Sunday.

Kuuipo Kuluau has a medical condition and is in urgent need of her medication. She is described as 4 feet 8, 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 808-935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call CrimeStoppers at 808-961-8300 in Hilo or 808-329-8181 in Kona. All CrimeStoppers information is kept confidential.
