Advertiser Staff

A construction worker who fell about 30 feet off the roof of one building on the University of Hawaii Manoa campus, and who may have fallen through the roof of a second structure, has been taken to The Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition.

Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department, said paramedics were called about 7:25 a.m. to 2530 Maile Way near Sakamaki Hall.
Cheplic said the worker, who appears to be in his 50s, was treated at the scene and then transported to a trauma center.
