NFL: Favre says his spat with Childress is 'resolved'

Associated Press

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Brett Favre is brushing aside his conflict with Minnesota coach Brad Childress.

Childress said he had a "good talk" with his quarterback on both Monday and Wednesday about their disagreement over his suggestion to remove Favre while the Vikings clung to a one-point lead late in the game at Carolina they eventually lost 26-7.

Childress also insists Favre has been "extremely true" to the offense in response to questions the 40-year-old hasn't followed orders.

Favre says the dispute is resolved and that he and Childress have communicated well this season.

After a 10-1 start, the Vikings have lost two of their last three games. Favre has thrown for only three touchdown passes and four interceptions so far in December.
