Speed a factor in critical motorcycle accident, police say
A 22-year-old Honolulu man was in critical condition today after a motorcycle accident on the Moanalua Freeway Access Road.
The crash happened about 3:54 p.m., when the motorcyclist apparently lost control, hitting the guardrail and overturning onto the roadway.
The man was ejected from the motorcycle and came to rest on the right lane.
He was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center.
Police said speed was a probable factor in the crash.
The man was wearing a helmet.
