The eight-member troupe of "Stomp" is continuing to prove that instruments aren't required to make music.

Returning to the Hawai'i Theatre after eight years, the percussionists use matchboxes, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters and hubcaps for an updated show that adds tractor-tire inner tubes and paint cans to the routines, but brings back dynamic favorites.

Performances are at 3 and 8 p.m. today and 3 and 7 p.m. tomorrow, with more concerts through Jan. 3. Tickets are $32 to $50. For show times and tickets, visit www.hawaiitheatre.com; call 528-0506 to charge by phone.
